Kalami Mansion is a 140 year-old mansion set right on the bay of Kalami. It has been recently renovated aligned to its Venetian character and elegance and opened its doors to guests in 2017.
There are 6 bedrooms with en suite shower rooms and eye-catching touches to make a graceful and tranquil environment more than pleasing to eye.
Also, there are three fully equipped kitchens, two on the ground floor and one on the first floor with all necessary amenities to make someone feel at home. French doors lead out to balconies and dining terrace.
Outside, the private swimming pool sets the scene. Surrounded by lawn garden, olive trees and an almond tree and a gate leading directly, with only few steps, to the beach of Kalami. In the morning the views of the sunrise are magnificent.
The quaint village of Kalami is an attractive spot with one narrow street with shops where most essentials can be found as well as few low profile cafeterias-bars and traditional tavermas for waterside dining.
Highlight of the area is the “White House”, where author Lawrence Durrell lived and wrote “My family and other animals”, “Prospero’s Cell” and others. The building is now used as a restaurant.
